When A Commercial Sprinkler System Goes Off

A commercial sprinkler system is a great way to put a small or large fire out very quickly. In condos or apartments, when you get cooks that are not Michelin star chefs, these sprinkler systems can protect your building from major fire damage. 

These sprinklers, however, have the power to release 250 gallons of water per minute. Which can cause a major water damage. Especially if you have multiple heads start going off at one time. 

SERVPRO of Monroeville/Evergreen/Brewton has responded to several local commercial businesses that have experienced sprinkler heads going off. In this picture, you will see some of the damage a large amount of water can do to ceilings and walls. While this is inconvenient for business and for a tenant, the safety it provides versus the damage a fire can cause is well worth the inconvenience.
